I specialize in using photography as a spiritual tool. 

I'm an artist and ordained Unitarian Universalist minister with a passion for social justice, the natural world, photography, and spiritual coaching. 

I have been working in photography in one way or another since 2003, and I ran a successful wedding photography company under the name Alix Klingenberg Photography from 2006-2016.  After a few years of deep inner soul work, a Master of Divinity, and raising my son, Quillen to the amazing 4-year-old he is, I am back behind the lens, this time with a renewed sense of who I am and who I hope to work with.  

Our sessions together will be about going beyond the obvious, taking a deep dive into what makes us human.  Imperfect as we all are, our beauty is intrinsic.  

Aesthetically, I love overgrown ruins, soft grays, clouds, vines that creep up brick buildings and tiny sprouts pushing up through the concrete. I love streams and tangled hair and fairy lights and magic. 

I believe in the kindness of our essential natures, empathy and sensitivity, gentleness, intuition and imagination.
